Tibetan Youth Festival

The Tibetan Youth Festival, as a part of Global Youth Tenshug, will be a festive gathering of Tibetan youth focused on three main themes of:

• དམ་ཚིག (damtshik: devotion/bond),
• གླེང་མོལ། (lengmol: connection/conversation),
• and དགའ་འཛོམས། (gahzom: gathering/celebration).

The festival will be an expression of our bonds with His Holiness, with each other, and with་our unique Tibetan culture. We will build new connections through social events and solidarity through conversations on topics most pertinent to the Tibetan youth and the Tibetan nation. And most crucially, we will celebrate our Tibetan identity and culture with a ‘lingka’ (picnic), market stalls, games, and a musical concert.

The festival will be held over three days from 11-13 September 2025 in Dharamsala.
